A Brother Found

As kids, we lived together
We fought, we laughed, we cried,
We did not always show the love
That we both hid inside.

We shared our dreams we shared our plans
We shared some secrets too,
And all the memories we now have
Are binding me to you.

We grew to find we have a love
A love so strong today,
Our family now shares that love
A love that will never fade away.

You are my brother, not by choice
But by the nature of our birth,
I could not wish a better one
You are my brother, you are my worth.
